Steve is principally a business Logistician, with detailed comprehension and capability in all of the associated disciplines. Steve's particular expertise in supply chain management, physical distribution, inventory management, strategic alliance and employee relations has been developed from both hands-on and senior management roles. Prior to starting LSS Steve has held several senior management roles as Operations Manager Sydney Ferries, GM Ipec Logistics, GM Henderson Consulting and Distribution Manager (NSW) Franklins Ltd.
Major Clients/ Projects/ Achievements:
- Queensland Health- major statewide supply and logistics review.
- AFSKOM New Caledonia- logistics for the feasibility study for the Goro Nickel Mine and led the normalisation process and negotiations between AFSKOM and the local landowners in the establishment of joint-venture arrangements.
- Foodstuffs Auckland- developed a sustainable fruit and vegetable distribution network for major NZ retailer that has changed this marketplace in NZ.
- SDS Queensland- Among several commissions Steve led a group comprising Education, Treasury and SDS in an alliance partnership approach to the development of the preparatory school program in Queensland.
